South Dakota’s First "Laughter Club!"


Laughter Yoga is a unique idea where anyone can laugh for no reason, you don’t need any jokes, comedies or even a sense of humor! We use simple laughter exercises in a group combined with gentle yoga breathing as a form of stress management and physical fitness.

As we do the laughter exercises we create genuine laughter through eye-contact and childlike playfulness. It’s a life changing experience, so come and join us as we laugh our way to joy and fitness! Classes are open to the public.

McKennan Laughter Club


Back by popular demand, Laughter Club will be at McKennan Park again this summer. We'll meet every Sunday, June through August, by the swimming pool parking lot from 9-9:30 a.m., barring any bad weather. We had such a great time last year laughing under blue skies. There's nothing quite like lifting your arms up to the heavens and laughing - it does a heart good!! Come join us for fun under the sun!



Yoga for Healing and Recovery

A therapeutic Yoga class for cancer patients and their caregivers.


A medical diagnosis of cancer is often accompanied by a sense of fear and anxiety. Yoga for Healing and Recovery is a gentle-level class designed to reduce mind/body tension, lessen pain, and increase range of motion. The program is specifically designed to meet the needs of cancer patients and their caregivers.

Through simple, yet profoundly effective yoga techniques of gentle stretching, breathing, guided imagery, deep relaxation and meditation you will learn what works for you to help you relax, let go and experience contentment. Please call Jill Johnson to find out more about the classes and to sign up.

This class is presented in partnership with the Therapeutic Healing Institute, Joyful Living Yoga, and The Dharma Room Yoga & Wellness Center. The classes are at no charge and are made possible by Dr. Juliann Reiland-Smith, owner of Comprehensive Breast Care P.C.

Jill is a co-owner of a new yoga studio in downtown Sioux Falls, SD, called The Dharma Room Yoga & Wellness Center. Come take a class or workshop when you’re in town, or stop down and shop in the retail area. All of Jill’s products are available for purchase in the retail section of the studio.

Check out the new addition of Yin Yoga at the Dharma Room.
Jill teaches this class on Thursdays from 11:30 am – 12:45 pm.
Yin Yoga is a practice of stillness that stretches the connective tissues of the body and is a great compliment to other yang, or more active, forms of hatha yoga.
